He was sitting on his play perch while I fed some smaller babies and I guess he decided he is tired of always being the last one to be fed...so he flew right to where I was standing at the sink!! I will try my best to get a video of him flying soon!!

He was playing with the Parsley leaves but of course as soon as I got the camera he decided to pose instead of nibble on the leaves.

By the way...this parsley had begun to go to seed and these stalks are rather stiff which is why I chose them for Salsa to play with. The parsley stems were meant mainly as a toy not as much as a food.

Although Parsley is ok for an occasional parrot snack...too much is not good for a parrot. Parsley and spinach have too much calcium and too much calcium can not be absorbed correctly by a bird.

They both are not very interested in handfeeding right now. I am going to start feeding them just 2 times a day now. Yesterday between the two of them they ate almost a whole small apple. They also worked on some bean sprouts and cooked sweet potato.

Star and Salsa sleeping last night. They usually each have their own separate cage but last night they both climbed into the cage together after playing for a couple hours on their playground so I just left them. Later I saw the two of them sleeping like this together and I thought it was TOO cute!!

Star and Salsa are 12 weeks old this weekend!! They were snacking on some bean sprouts and some apple in their cage. Salsa is sitting closer to the bowl and Star is looking on.

They have convinced me that they prefer to stay in the same cage now. I prefer caging them separately, but they really do enjoy playing with each other so I will let them stay in the same cage for now. I think that they will probably be weaned in 2 to 3 weeks.
