In 2006 we had our first Red Lored amazon Baby. This baby's parents killed their first baby the previous year so I decided to take the egg away from the parents a few days before it was due to hatch. Everything went very smoothly and this baby grew up to be a beautiful Red Lored Amazon.

The Baby has hatched and is still curled up like he was in the egg.
The baby is drying off nicely still trying to stretch out of his fetal position from being in the egg.
The Red Lored Amazon is over 24 hours old now and eating really well!! He has lots of energy.
